New degree program beginning  Fall 2010

An interdisciplinary degree program offerd by the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. The  degree program is based on courses offered by the departments of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Geography, Geology, and Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering. The goal of this degree is to train environmental scientists and prepare students for graduate school or for entry level positions in environmental consulting firms, non-governmental organizations and governmental environmental agencies.

Description

Grade/GPA

GLY 101-102 or GEO 101,106

two semesters of Global Environmental Science

C or better/ 2.0 minimum GPA

BIO 200 or equivalent

a college level introductory biology course

C or better/ 2.0 minimum GPA
